Relax and enjoy the taste of wine and quaint atmosphere. Guggisberg’s Doughty Glen Winery is an Award Winning Winery and an exciting addition to Guggisberg Swiss Inn and Amish Country Riding Stables. Located in Ohio’s Amish Country, Guggisberg’s Doughty Glen Winery was opened in fall of 2013 after over four years of anticipation for owners Eric and Julia Guggisberg. In addition to a selection of flavorful wines, Doughty Glen also offers a unique setting, lodging, and horseback riding on premise. Perfect for a romantic date, a group getaway, outdoor wedding, retreat, reunion or for someone simply seeking true relaxation. Tastings are available in the lobby at the Guggisberg Swiss Inn.

Doughty Glen Winery is the perfect setting, no matter the season, it is breathtaking. Enjoy a glass of wine by the fireplace or in the glassed in sitting area while watching the snow fall in Winter. In the Spring, nibble on Guggisberg’s award winning cheeses, while watching the newly hatched ducks. During the Summer, horseback ride or grab a bottle of wine and relax by the pond while watching the horses roam. Enjoy the changing fall foliage and take a relaxing stroll around the property in Autumn. There is something for everyone here. Our wines range from a sweet Concord to a pleasant Pinot Noir.

WINTER HOURS FOR THE WINERY ARE MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY 10AM TO 6PM- (WEATHER DEPENDENT) EXCEPT WEEKENDS STARTING MID JANUARY- REGULAR HOURS THURSDAY, FRIDAY AND SATURDAY
